Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born March 4 1954) is a Canadian-American actress and comedian. O'Hara has been awarded a variety of awards, including the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award) as well as two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, O'Hara was appointed an Officer of Canada. In 2020 , she received the Governor General’s Performing Arts Performing Arts Artistic Achievement Award. O'Hara was a renowned actress as a member in 1974 of The Second City, an Improvisational comedy troupe based out of Toronto. Along with John Candy (1975-1978), she was part of the primary casting for the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara as well as Candy began work on Second City Television's sketch comedy show (1976-1984). O'Hara won a Primetime Emmy Award in 1981 for Outstanding Writing for Variety Series. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the new Second City artistic advisory board headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
