Lara Logan

 Lara Logan, born 29/03/71 was a South African television journalist and war reporter. She worked as a CBS News journalist from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager called her factually inaccurate and politcally biased piece concerning the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack "the biggest mistake I've made in my 10-year-old's watch." She was a member of Sinclair Broadcast Group (a conservative media organization) in the year 2019. The company was acquired by Fox Nation, a subscription streaming platform run by Fox News, in January 2020. In March 2022, she claimed she had been "dumped" by the company. Logan was a journalist for the Sunday Tribune of Durban during her studies (1988-1989) which was followed by the Daily News of the city (1990-1992). She was hired by Reuters Television Africa in 1992 as a senior producer. After four years in the company, she began freelance journalism. The assignments included an editor/reporter/reporter for ITN, Fox/SKY News in London, CBS News, ABC News in London, NBC, NBC and European Broadcasting Union. She worked for CNN and reported on events like the 1998 United States embassy bombings in Nairobi and Tanzania as well as the ongoing conflict in Northern Ireland, and the Kosovo war
